Dear Prayer-Partners and Fellow-Laborers,

We want to take this time to thank you for all you have done for us this past year.  As the Lord lead and directed and opened His door of service for our lives, you all have been supportive both financially and prayerfully for our family.  God bless you richly for your love to us.  Phil 4:16-19.

The Home Front: We faced another Christmas without family, and the Lord showed His precious grace to us.  We surely missed our family and talked much on the phone during that time.  We enjoyed spending time with our boys and sharing the Love of Christ with our neighbors.  Amanda made pumpkin pie and we took it over with a Gospel Christmas tract.  Our prayer is that as we talk with them the Holy Spirit will convict them and show their need of a Saviour.  Please pray for this young couple, Patrick and Isabelle, and their two small children.

The Ministry:  It is an honor to work with the John J. Abisch family.  We have learned much about the Quebec people since arriving here.  The Abisch family has been a tremendous blessing in helping us to settle in and get involved with the people.  We are helping in their mission church here on the outskirts of Montreal, Quebec.  We are quickly learning that the people are very hardened to the Gospel.  It is really difficult to see people come to Christ.  When even one comes to Christ, it is a tremendous blessing, and there is rejoicing in our hearts as well as in Heaven.  We are praying for a harvest of souls here.

The work is going well.  We helped in the evangelistic outreach in December.  The church has a large Christmas dinner, Christmas play and Gospel message, where many visitors are invited to attend.  The Lord blessed that night and around 60 people came to the dinner.  The play was a success and the message a blessing.  No one came forward for salvation, but everyone there received a clear presentation of the Gospel.

In January we are starting a children’s ministry in the church.  The Quebecois (people of Quebec) have a great love for children.  Our prayer is that they will see our love for their families and come to know Christ as a result.  Once again thank you and we love you.
