Grenada, West Indies
September/October/November/December – 2007

Dear Co-Laborers in Christ:

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:” Psalm 103:2

God has been so good to meet our financial and physical needs. With your help we have been able to meet some of the needs of the people in our village.

IN SEPTEMBER: We had our annual “Scripture for School Supplies.” Our church children memorized Philippians chapter four to earn school supplies. This is a tremendous help to their families. Thank you for your help with this project.

IN OCTOBER: Robert went to the States. He was able to travel with Carrie as she began sharing her burden for the children of Grenada and raise support to return to the field as a full-time missionary. After a visit to the doctor Robert was informed that he needed cataract surgery in both eyes. His short visit was extended for two months. Pat remained in Grenada and continued the children’s ministries.

IN NOVEMBER: Robert returned to Grenada. He has 20/20 vision and we owe a balance of $3,411.00 after our insurance has settled. Please pray with us about this financial need.

IN DECEMBER: Carrie’s sending church generously provided Christmas presents for our church family. The teens packaged the gifts and Carrie packed a barrel. Forty-four were in attendance for our Christmas morning service. The babies received stuffed animals, the young children were given sand buckets full of toys and candy, and everyone else was presented with a very large bag of toiletries. The children of another church bought everything needed to fill pencil boxes and sent candy for our church family too. It was exciting to share these gifts and help meet the needs of our church family, many of whom would not have had any Christmas presents.

Our mail service was interrupted as planes were too full and there was no room for mail. We are just now receiving our November correspondence.

Thank you for your help and prayers this past year. We are anxious to see what the Lord will accomplish here in Grenada in 2008.
