TATTER CHATTER – NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2006

Dear Beloved Prayer Warriors!,

Proverbs 15:30, “The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.”

November 29, 2006 is an extra special day because on that day I will be leaving the states returning to Chad, Africa!  Pray for me as I prepare to return and that on arriving I will experience a smooth transition.  Here is how you can pray:

1. The Sunday school ministry, as I understand, is running smoothly in regards to the teachers faithfully are ministering to their students.
2. The workshops training new teachers are self perpetuating as long as the training literature and lessons are available.

 Because of this please pray that they will continue in these ministries and that we will find a way to help them be self-sustaining even though it is difficult and expensive to print the Sunday school literature.  The eight years of lessons is available in French and three years of lessons are available in two of the six tonal languages.

Pray for me as I return that I will remain joyful and content to remain in the background in an advisory role if they so desire in regards to this Sunday school ministry which has consumed my life for 25 years!

A new ministry which will keep me in the Republic of Chad has been suggested.  Pray that I will follow my Savior’s leading.  It has to do with education but until I talk with my Chadian colleagues as well as my missionary colleagues I cannot to into much detail at this time.
